In short

An ADHD appointment planner that works backwards from the start

ADHD Appointment Planner is a one-time download: an offline web app (no account needed) plus a separate Google Sheets™ template (free Google account) for working out when to get ready and when to leave, with a waiting mode and short tasks that fit the time before. No subscription.

With an appointment later in the day, the hours before it can feel blocked, and getting ready can still start late. This ADHD appointment planner works backwards: enter the start time, travel time, a buffer and how long you need to get ready, and it shows when to get ready, when to leave and when you'd arrive, on a timeline drawn to scale. A calm waiting mode counts the minutes until you leave, and the task finder suggests short tasks that fit before getting ready, with a 5-minute safety margin kept free.

It only knows what you enter: travel times don't update by themselves, and times show on screen while the page is open – it won't ring, buzz or send you a message.

An organizing tool – not a medical tool.

What it does

Planned backwards

  • Leave at = start − travel − buffer; get ready at = leave time − getting-ready time; end = start + duration
  • Cards for get ready, leave, planned arrival, start and end, each with how long until then
  • A timeline to scale: free time, getting ready, travel, buffer and the appointment
  • Your usual travel, buffer and getting-ready times as defaults, changeable for each appointment

Waiting mode

  • Five phases: free time, time to get ready, leave time reached, appointment, review
  • Minutes until leave time in large type and a 60-minute ring for the last hour
  • A simple checklist per appointment, such as keys, phone and documents

Short tasks that fit

  • Quick tasks with minutes and a priority: high, normal or low
  • The task finder lists open tasks that fit the free time – high priority first, then the shorter one
  • A 5-minute safety margin stays free before getting ready; with several appointments, the earliest one counts

Several appointments and time zones

  • Today's Appointments puts the whole day on one timeline and marks overlaps without moving anything
  • Each appointment keeps its own time zone, and clock-change nights are taken into account
  • Upcoming, past and all appointments with filters and a 7-day overview

Learn from past trips

  • Note the real travel time and how it went – on time, close or late – if you like
  • After 3 trips on the same route and travel mode, a suggested travel time (median) and buffer appear; nothing changes unless you apply them

How it works

  1. Buy on Etsy

Check out on Etsy, then download your files in a web browser – not in the Etsy app.

  2. Open START HERE

The guide shows which web app file to open and has your Google Sheets copy links and the link for iPhone and iPad.

  3. Start planning

Open the web app in your browser, or make your own copy of the Google Sheets template, and add your first entry.

More about how it works

Is it right for you?

A good fit if you …

  • often notice too late that it's time to start getting ready
  • want to use the time before an appointment instead of just waiting
  • like to see free time, getting ready, travel and buffer as one picture
  • don't mind typing in your travel times yourself

Maybe not the right fit if you …

Good to know

  • This is a self-guided planning tool, not medical treatment.
  • Not an alarm or notification app: no push notifications, background alarms, live traffic data, GPS navigation or automatic travel-time updates. Travel times are entered by you
  • The web app works offline and stores data locally in your browser – clearing browser data can erase it, so export JSON backups regularly
  • Web app and Google Sheets work independently and do not sync; in Google Sheets you update the time snapshot and time-zone offsets manually
  • Instant digital download – no physical item will be shipped
  • For personal use only – sharing, forwarding or reselling the files is not allowed

Questions about the ADHD Appointment Planner

Will it ring or send a message when it's time to leave?

No. It's a planning tool: times and minutes are shown on screen and update while the page is open. When you reopen it, it recalculates from the current time.

Does it know about traffic?

No. You enter travel times yourself. Suggestions come only from your own notes on past trips, after three trips on the same route and travel mode.

What happens when my leave time has passed?

The minutes turn negative. The planner can't know whether you already left – noting the trip afterwards is optional.

Do I need an account?

The web app needs no account. The Google Sheets version needs a free Google account. There is no stillmeasure. account and no subscription.

Where is my data saved – and do the two versions sync?

In the web app, in your browser on that device, not inside the HTML file – use the same file in the same browser and export a backup now and then. In Google Sheets, in your own copy in Google Drive. The two versions don't sync.

Does it work on my iPhone?

iPhone & iPad: open the web-app link from your START HERE guide in Safari and add it to your Home Screen. A downloaded HTML file on its own only opens as a preview on iPhone and iPad.

Can I use it in Excel?

It isn't supported. The spreadsheet version is built for Google Sheets.
