In short

A content calendar spreadsheet with content pillars and goals

Content Calendar is a one-time download: an offline web app (no account needed) plus a separate Google Sheets™ template (free Google account) for planning posts across several channels, keeping an idea bank and comparing what you planned with what you published. No subscription.

The same idea often goes out on two or three channels, each on a different day. Here one post holds the idea – title, pillar, format, campaign – and every channel gets its own entry with its own date, status and numbers. The calendar marks each entry with a status letter, posting goals count only what you actually published, plan coverage is a separate number, and the pillar view sets your target mix against your published mix.

It's a planner, not a scheduler: it doesn't connect to any platform, doesn't post anything and doesn't pull in analytics. Reach, likes and saves are numbers you type in, and nothing here promises growth.

What the video shows

The October 2026 calendar on a laptop, under the line “Ideas, channels, posting goals.” Labels appear one by one: Monthly + Weekly, Multi-Channel, Idea Bank, Posting Goals and Content Pillars. A small card shows one pillar: Education has 16 of 35 published entries, a 40% target share and an actual share of 45.71%. Then planned vs. published, the pipeline and the pillar balance. It ends with: offline web app + Google Sheets, three editions, separate files, no syncing.

What it does

Plan

  • Monthly and weekly calendar – up to 3 entries per day plus “+N more”, filtered by channel
  • Overview with this week's published posts, plan coverage, overdue entries and the next 7 days
  • Pipeline with five stages: Idea, Draft, Ready, Planned, Published – change the status on each card
  • Status letters (I · D · R · L · P) next to every color, so nothing depends on color alone

Ideas and content

  • Idea bank: a title and a content pillar are enough – dates and channels come later
  • One idea, several channels: each channel entry has its own date, status, caption, hashtags and link
  • Reuse published content as a new item for another channel or date
  • All content in one searchable list, filtered by channel, status, pillar, campaign or format, with CSV export

Goals and pillars

  • Weekly and monthly posting goals per channel – only published entries count
  • Plan coverage shown separately – every dated entry counts: drafts, ready, planned and published
  • Goal streak per channel and what's missing from the plan in the next three weeks
  • Content pillars with target shares (e.g. 40 / 25 / 20 / 15%) compared with your published mix

Campaigns, series and metrics

  • Campaigns with start and end dates
  • Repeating templates (e.g. “Monday tip”): preview the next dates; entries are created only after you confirm
  • Reach, views, likes, comments, saves and clicks typed in by hand after publishing
  • Engagement rate = (likes + comments + saves) ÷ reach – shown only when the numbers are complete

How it works

  1. Buy on Etsy

Check out on Etsy, then download your files in a web browser – not in the Etsy app.

  2. Open START HERE

The guide shows which web app file to open and has your Google Sheets copy links and the link for iPhone and iPad.

  3. Start planning

Open the web app in your browser, or make your own copy of the Google Sheets template, and add your first entry.

More about how it works

Is it right for you?

A good fit if you …

  • post on two or more channels and lose track of what went where
  • want posting goals that count only what you actually published
  • plan around a few content pillars and want to see the real mix
  • are happy to type in your own numbers

Maybe not the right fit if you …

  • want posts scheduled or published for you, or analytics pulled in – it has no platform connection at all.
  • need a project plan with tasks, milestones and a timeline. Project Management Spreadsheet →
  • want to keep track of invoices for client work. Invoice Tracker →

Good to know

  • IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ: This is a digital planning tool, not a social media publishing service. It does not connect to platforms or publish automatically. Analytics are entered manually. The offline HTML app and Google Sheets template work separately and do not sync. The app stores data locally in your browser; regular backups are recommended. Browser support for local HTML files varies, particularly on iPhone and iPad – the START HERE guide includes iPhone links.
  • No content, captions or images are created for you, and no growth or reach is promised. Rates describe your own entries.
  • Platform names are used only to describe which channels you can plan for. This product is not affiliated with any platform.
  • For personal use; please don’t share or resell the files.

Questions about the Content Calendar

Does it post to my channels for me?

No. It has no connection to any platform. You publish on the platform yourself, then click Mark published here.

Do I need an account?

The web app needs no account – you open the file in your browser. The Google Sheets version needs a free Google account. Either way, there is no stillmeasure. account and no subscription.

Where is my data saved – and do the two versions sync?

In the web app, it's saved in your browser on that device – export a backup now and then. In Google Sheets, it's in your own copy in Google Drive. The two versions don't sync.

Does it work on my iPhone?

iPhone & iPad: open the web-app link from your START HERE guide in Safari and add it to your Home Screen. A downloaded HTML file on its own only opens as a preview on iPhone and iPad.

Why does a draft count in plan coverage?

Plan coverage shows whether your calendar is filled, so every dated entry counts. Posting goals count only what's published.

Why don't I see an engagement rate?

It needs reach above 0 plus likes, comments and saves for that entry. Add the missing numbers with Add metrics.

Can I use it in Excel?

It isn't supported. The spreadsheet is made for Google Sheets.
