Pricing Calculator is a one-time download: an offline web app (no account needed) plus a separate Google Sheets™ template (free Google account) for working out what one unit costs you, the lowest price for your target margin once selling fees are paid, and what a discount would leave. No subscription.

Prices set by feel often leave out your hours, a share of fixed costs, packaging, postage and the fees taken from every sale. Enter each material once and build a recipe per batch, and the calculator shows your cost per unit, the lowest price for your target margin after fees, and what a sale or another channel would leave you. Use it as an Etsy pricing calculator spreadsheet – it works for other selling channels too – or as an offline web app.

The results are estimates from your own entries. Fees are editable examples checked on Oct 11, 2026, nothing is looked up online, and VAT or sales tax isn't calculated. A margin on screen is not a promise of sales.

Questions about the Pricing Calculator

Are the Etsy fees always correct?

Not necessarily. They're editable examples checked on Oct 11, 2026, and fees differ by country, payment method, currency and order – compare them with your platform and adjust them.

Does it connect to Etsy, a shop or my bank?

No. Nothing is imported or looked up online – every number comes from what you enter.

Is sales tax or VAT included?

No. Sales tax, VAT and taxes on seller fees aren't calculated – it's a planning tool, not tax advice.

What does “surplus” mean?

What's left after the costs you entered – including your own hourly rate – and the estimated fees. It is not your taxable profit.

Do I need an account?

The web app needs no account – you open the file in your browser. The Google Sheets version needs a free Google account. There is no stillmeasure. account and no subscription.

Where is my data saved – and do the two versions sync?

In the web app, your data is saved in your browser on that device, not in the HTML file – export a backup now and then. In Google Sheets, it's in your own copy in Google Drive. The two versions don't sync.

Does it work on my iPhone?

iPhone & iPad: open the web-app link from your START HERE guide in Safari and add it to your Home Screen. A downloaded HTML file on its own only opens as a preview on iPhone and iPad.

Can I use it in Excel?

It isn't supported. The spreadsheet is built for Google Sheets.
