A Classic round of the app, rebuilt for the web: the 8×8 board, three blocks per set, rows and columns that clear and combos that build up – with the gem stones, effects, music and sounds of the app. Sound starts with your first tap and can be switched off with the speaker button. Adventure and the animated waterfalls are only in the app. Your high score stays in this browser – no sign-up, no download.

Features
Drag, drop, clear lines
Drag one of three blocks onto the 8×8 board. A full row or column clears. Blocks cannot be rotated, so plan where each one goes.
Combos
Clear lines move after move to build a combo. Clearing several lines at once scores even more.
Classic and Adventure
Classic is endless and has no time limit. Adventure has 1,000 levels, each with a goal, such as collecting the jewels set into the board.
Fair blocks
Every new set of three fits on the board in at least one order. Finding that order is up to you.
A jungle temple with waterfalls
Gem stones and carved sandstone, flowing waterfalls and fireflies in the background. You can switch the animated background off.
Relaxing music and nature sounds
Our own calm temple music and jungle sounds, each with its own switch – plus sound effects and vibration.
Win streaks and the treasure chamber
Wins in a row make your emblem gem grow. The treasure chamber shows what you have reached and what comes next.

How to play Gem Bash
- Drag a block. Pick one of the three blocks below the board and drag it to a free spot. Blocks cannot be rotated.
- Fill a line. A full row or column clears and frees its cells. Several lines at once score more.
- Keep room free. When all three blocks are placed, three new ones appear. The round ends when none of them fits.
Tips for higher scores and bigger combos
Keep the middle of the board open and fill the edges first. Leave room for the large blocks, which need a lot of free space in one place. Try to clear a line with every move or two: if you place several blocks without clearing anything, your combo ends.

Gem Bash plays in overgrown temple ruins: the blocks are polished gem stones and carved sandstone, and behind the board waterfalls flow and fireflies drift. Our own calm temple music and the sounds of the jungle play in the background, each with its own switch.

Questions and answers
Is Gem Bash free?
Yes. The browser demo on this page is free, without ads and without sign-up. The Android game will be free to download from Google Play. It shows ads: a banner below the block tray (never over the board) and full-screen ads, which only appear as an announced break after a win or a result screen (also in Classic), never in the middle of a round. A one-time purchase, “Ad-free”, removes the banner and the full-screen ads.
How do you play a block puzzle like Gem Bash?
You get three blocks at a time and drag them onto the 8×8 board. When a row or column is completely full, it clears and makes room. When all three blocks are placed, you get three new ones. The round ends when none of the remaining blocks fits.
Are the blocks in Gem Bash fair?
Before a new set of three appears, the game checks that all three blocks fit on the current board in at least one order, counting the rows and columns they clear. That does not mean every move works: a block in the wrong place can still leave no room for the next one.
What is the difference between Classic and Adventure?
Classic is endless: you play for a high score until no block fits. Adventure has levels with a goal, for example a score to reach or a number of gems to collect from the board.
Is there a lives or energy system?
No. You can play Classic and Adventure as often as you like.
Can I play this block puzzle online for free?
Yes. The Classic round on this page runs free in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer – no download, no sign-up, no ads. For Adventure and the full jungle look with flowing waterfalls you need the Android app, which is coming soon to Google Play.
Can I play Gem Bash offline?
